Yes a sad task for sure but I guess we have to remember that our pets are just on loan from up above to make our days better. I say this now but my old guy isn't getting any younger:( That will be a bad day!!

Sad work to do, but a great tribute to Sasha & I'm sure it helped your parents with the loss of their friend.

I'm sitting here in my recliner, checking out this very nice tribute to a loved family member, with my "Home Boy" Mike (my boxer) laying at my feet. Cant help get but get a little sad over this one.

I think you did an outstanding job. I especially love the inlay. Very well done….

P.S. Very well said about our pets being a loan from above.

Omg, when I first saw the post I thought you had had the words stamped or burnt on but then I read wehat you said and was surprised to read it was inlay. Nice! I was going to ask how did you managed to do it so neat and nice.

if I had done it freehand as I had in the past it probably would have taken me 10+ hours… However, I have been fortunate enough to be able to add a cnc machine to my shop so the whole process probably took 30 mins or so
