Project Information

I purchase a sh*t load of European Wild Cherry a while back but it was a little hard to get to with all the Scrap that was in the way.. now that I have cleaned up and had a little marshmallow roast.. I was able to pick out a few choice pieces of Cherry from the thousands of sticks in my racks…
I thought that a little Purple Heart accent stripes between each board would be cool. Each of these boards has a slight taper which is only just evident in these pics.
I am rather fond of this shape for a cheese board.. I think I will keep it in the product line and try different combinations of wood and designs.. What do you think.??

Well, since you have more toys than I do, more talent than I do, more wood than I do, and more time to use it all than I do, the only thing left is to hope you aren't having any fun doing it. Besides that, you just burn up the wood that gets in the way. Whaaaa???

Not to mention how cool the cheese board is…

Oh bother…

Eh… I mean, nice work on the cheese board Larry. I like the grain pattern you selected and the accent stripes also. Keep up the good work.

Best,

Larry,

It seems you are getting rather low on your wood supply - you may only have enough in that pic for a few hundred more cutting boards! Oh the humanity!

Cool posting! I didn't realize you taper the pieces - thanks for the info!

Hey Buddy! How about a hole in the handle to hang it on the wall? I find a lot of folks like that feature.

Hi Larry. I like these cheese boards and I especially liked what you did with the grain on the one pictured. I liked porosskywood's idea about the hole for hanging. Here in Norway they often decorate or paint on the back side to make it into a decoration when hung up. That side is never used to cut on. I'm not saying you should do this.

Don't look now Mate, but there is a concrete floor in your shop!!!
And, it's time to get more timber because yours racks aren't sagging anymore…....

Seriously though partner, you have a very good eye for combination's and patterns.
The board underneath in the first picture is beautiful as well.

But the yanks stand ready to help you out with your over supply problem.
Load up the" SS degoose" and send it on over!
(You have cool cars, trucks, trailers and all. You DO have your own ocean liner too right?)
