Update from Rustic's shop
Not much to report at this time. Just finished the mock ups for a set of birdhouses that a client has ordered. (She knows I am taking my time to get it right. I have recently bought a 26 gauge (I believe) pin nailer so I can tack the sides on the birdhouses without splitting. Bought the Harbor Freight brand and love it.
I am getting my shop cleaned up as well. Jockmike2 and his lovelyy wife will be here next weekend. I have also been playing with the new sign crafter upgrade kit I bought at the woodworking show in Taylor. Starting to get it figured out.
I am also looking to get some DC hoses this week from Woodcraft so I can set up my shopvac as a mini dust collector.
I have also been doing some non woodworking things like installing a new hard drive on my "work" PC and installing Ubuntu inside Windows so I can play with it.
On top of all that I am looking for work and getting ready to go back to school.
Will post pics of the progress as I can. (no batteries for the camera).
And I am paying a visit to Mike's school of woodturning on Fr.
Keep the sawdust flying.
Rick
