Sorry to post a non-woodworking blog, but can anyone tell me how to respond to an individual who posted a comment on my blog? Its my first day on a blog site… please bear with me. TSW
This is a sharing and caring community. IMHO, reply as you can in the blog itself after their comment/question. So other member might be able to know/learn (unless your reply is exclusively to be readable by a particular member only).
welcome aboard, there is currently a minumum number of posts before one can PM others. you can PM others as stated above by lew, however, usually it is best to respond to a public comment with a public comment on the forum thread itself by using the "add new comment" at the bottom of the thread so that others can benefit from the shared knowledge (if someone asked you what size material you work on and you answer it for example as others may also have the same curiosity and may be waiting for the answer)
That all sounds right. Just comment "Yup" a dozen times and go to PMing as much as ya like. Welcome to LJ.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
