Project Information

I made this router table cabinet for my shop. I put drawers for router bits and wrenches. The bottom of the cabinet houses my router case. This cabinet was made out of cheap pine. I used my own design but took sme ideas from others that I have seen. So far, it has worked great.

Mike, my router plate is not secured to the top and just sits in a grove. The entire router, bolted to the plate, lifts out as one to change the bits.

Thanks for the info. Ive been thinking about a table. Iv been wandering how hard it was to change the bit.

Nice job!

Noting the nicely molded edges of your doors and drawers, I see that you have proven once again that "It takes a router table to build a router table"!!

I like the pine. It adds a certain pizazz.
