New Video: Shop Tour, plus good news/bad news

If you prefer to skip my ramblings, and go strait to the Shop Tour video, click HERE

Well, releasing my Router Inlay Basics video at the end of December, gave way to a tumultuous January, to say the least. I had planned to go right into the sequel to Router Inlay Basics: "Router Inlay Techniques," but I decided that I needed to take a quick detour and makes some changes and updates to my website. That, however, turned into a slippery slope, taking most of my spare time in the month of January. Most of the visible changes are on the Workshop tab including a Shop Tour video, and in the project Gallery.

On to the news. The bad news is that I got laid off from my day job at the end of January. The good news is…. I got laid off from my day job at the end of January. Turned out to be a blessing in disguise, and it looks like I will be back to work by March 1st, which brings me to the really good news: I should have the whole month of Feb. to get caught up on all things Woodworking!

And what better way to kick off the month (albeit a few days late) than with a Shop Tour Video

Thanks for stopping by folks!

Gary: I stole the ziplock bag and clothespin idea from fellow LumberJock RJ, so feel free to steal it from me. (Sorry Ron) LOL

Khop: The music is from Keiko Matsui, a classically trained pianist from Japan that does modern jazz. It is a style of music that seems to complement asian inspired contemporary furniture. I used her music with my Tatami Style Bed and my Asian Inspired Ladder Shelf.

Ike: To adhere the Lignum Vitae soles onto the #80 and the Little Victor, I used turner's tape, which is a stronger version of double stick tape. I was not comfortable doing anything irreversible to these tools, and the turner's tape has held up so far. (This was in the Hand Tools Video)
