Autosaving Drafts - No Need to Be Nervous Anymore

It happened multiple times in past… and probably to you as well, at least once. You spent 15 minutes typing long and meaningful blog entry only to lose it. Right before hitting Submit button your browser crashed or you lost internet connection or something else happened. I'm sure you didn't want to type it again. It's frustrating and demotivating.

No need to be nervous anymore.

I've integrated autosave feature into the most important forms on the site - new project, blog entry, forum topic, workshop, comment and new forum reply. It saves the unpublished draft of the form automatically for you each 30 seconds. You don't even have to remember to click on some new button.

Hope you like this and thanks for bugging me about this feature ;)

Comment drafts should be working fine now.. I've updated them to be tied to specific post so the currently saved draft will not appear on the other post's page. And not that only one comment draft if saved at any time. Thanks for the feedback!

Martin I noticed that autosaving didn't occur when I was typing a message to someone. I hit back by mistake and everything that I typed was gone. Can this feature be put in messages also?

Thanks a lot! Great feature!

Is there a way to continue editing or writing before you post it or should we just "Post This Entry" and then change if we need to?

I don't know if many websites have someone like Martin who actually listens and responds to the needs of users.

Martin, how long does this save feature last. I started a blog last night but had that question about resizing images. I went back today to finish it. How do I get back to the draft or does the save dump after some time?
