While I'm at it, who's coming to the Columbus Woodworking Show?
Since the Columbus show is the weekend after next (that would be January 15 - 17, 2010), and I'll have a booth set up there again this year. I was wondering which Lumberjocks are headed out to the show. If you let me know you're planning on coming as soon as possible, I'll try to drop you a card in the mail that's good for $2 off admission. Just send me a message with your address so I know where to send the discount card. Let me know if you're coming to the show. I really enjoy meeting Lumberjocks at the shows.
Unfortunately, the Boston show is next weekend as well. Hard to be in Baltimore and Boston on the same weekend. The closest I'm getting to New England with the show this year is Somerset, NJ…not very close at all, really. Maybe next year.
the new england home show woodworking expo…. now that i think about it its probably a different venue than the shows you're doing. Im gonna be at it along with a few other woodworkers from Boston, North Bennet Street School, and all over the country.
Chuck,
I apologize for calling you Randy. I glanced at the wrong name.
Todd,
Maybe you should move back to Ohio so you can attend some of these events. There isn't much up there in Montana is there? Maybe some beautiful mountains and a big hole….but its cold 10 1/2 months out of the year. I could use a few woodworking lessons too.
Those are some nice pics, I hope summer falls on a weekend for you this year.
Chuck,
I'll take you up on those woodworking lessons. I'm ashamed to say I've never made a boring straight hand cut dovetail before. In fact, the dovetails I've made have looked…well somewhat interesting. Some might question whether they are dovetails at all.
Hey, Chuck!I booked a last minute ticket to visit my family in Cleveland, and my mother and brother and i are coming to the WW show in Columbus on Sunday! I can't wait to meet you and thank you in person!
C'mon! Naomi needs SOME competition for the longest commute…
It was great seeing you, Dave, SPalm, DustyAl, Greg3G and all the woodworkers at Baltimore. I'm really excited about seeing LJ's in Columbus this weekend.
If you're anywhere near the area, swing by the show and check out the latest gadgets. After you've checked out the latest innovations, swing by the booth, introduce yourself and maybe we'll try to cut some dovetails…the right way, by hand.
Nice meeting up with you today and chit-chatting for a little bit.
