Interesting but I'm with Julian.
I don't even take the time to cut my firewood to uniform length or stack it very neatly. I keep about 4 to 6 cords going at any one time. I see some firewood stacks that are more precisely cut than some of my wood working projects. Must be an emotional outlet for the more anal retentive types in the world. LOL

It's not photo shoped I assure you. The site I lost was an artisans site showing his work. If you look closley there is the edge of another in the distance.

You are my hero! I'm not sure if I came by this through JLC or Breaktime forums but I couldn't relocate it.
Thanks a bunch. I'll peruse your web site later, looks interesting, and holler back.
Thanks
Bob

My pleasure Jagwah,

Sharing, this is what this site is all about. As my late sister used to say: "No man is an island".

PS: I'm flattered to be your hero !!!! (LOL) (LOL) (LOL)

Best,

Serge

This is cool, I have 6-7cords of wood I use for my suplimental heat source but would agree with the rest…
I don't have the time to stack it like artwork.
Thanks for sharing.

Way cool but as others have stated this is proof that some people have entirely too much time on their hands.

Agreed on the "too much time", but I'm glad you posted it anyway - it's still a work of art that we can appreciate even if we would not spend our time that way. I've had other folks comment on some of my works that way - as in "Why did you bother….?" I think this sort of thing might just be a psychic itch that needs to be scratched somehow.

I have to say, whenever I hear the phrase "you have too much time on your hands" it almost always translates to "you did something really creative that I didn't think of doing." Just my $0.02.

This is amazing, and beautiful. It definitely does remind me of Andy Goldsworthy, whose incredible work has no doubt been written off as the work of someone with too much time on their hands.
