    Hey Richard,

Thanks for commenting on my carcass saw review. I definitely think that trying to hard to have as few tools as possible can cause problems, as you may end up with a bunch of tools that aren't ideal for anything. There is always a need to contemplate the trade off between versatility and specialty. While I appreciate the versatility of my saw I wouldn't have chosen the 15ppi carcass saw as my dovetail if it wasn't what I thought was ideal for that task in the long run. Actually i discussed the advantages of a longer dovetail saw with Tom Figden (of the unplugged woodshop) before ultimately deciding to purchase the 15ppi rip carcass for this purpose. He's in the process of designing a 12 inch 16ppi saw to be his new dedicated dovetail saw.

Also I agree that calling the omitting of the price a "damn shame" was a bit dramatic. Honestly, how hard is it to go to LNs website to look it up. However, I decided to accept that criticism as graciously as possible.

Finally, you are totally right about sawing with these things being addictive. I can't count the number of lines I've marked and cut since I got this thing. Never thought I'd use up all those little pieces fo scrap wood I had lying around until i got my LN saw. Thanks again for the comment.
