Project Information

The materials are Sycamore, Rosewood, and African Blackwood for the finial. This lidded bowl started out as sycamore vase, but I went too far with a new hollowing tool, and the wall went to infinite thinness, and the top broke off. But the base was a nice shape. So, I experimented with dyes on the exterior, and went with a vivid red dye for the interior.

The inside diameter may not exceed than the outside diameter. Or you will end up with a real nice box… Love the dye !.
