Project Information

I have the Ford N series in full scale. This is a 12:1 scale of my 1949 9N. Detailed down to the drain plugs. This was the first tractor that I made tractor tires for. I had to make a machine to make the tires. It is adaptable to different sized tires. Red Cedar throughout. One of my favorites.

Wow, that must be a great model in real life, seeing pictures brought back a lot of memories of the 9N I used when I wore a younger man's clothes. Thank you for posting this…if my Dad were still alive I'd pester you to sell me one so I could give it to him in memory of all the great times we had with our 9N. Thank you!

Hello Hunter,

I love this tractor. Did you make planes or is it all "freehand" ? The Ford 9N was popular all over the world i think. But i,m born in 56 and nut sure. I know that we at home had Ferguson (35, 35 x) tractors. Also known as ford ferguson. Later my dad bought a Ford Dexta. A Ford with a perkins motor.
