Project Information

Here's a recent prototype puzzle made for a puzzle designer friend to test out his theory. He originally designed it to use spheres and wasn't sure it would work with 'edge beveled cubes' so this is the result.
The name for the puzzle comes from it's solved shape which is an 'Octahedron' and curiously enough it also has a 'Tetrahedron' incorporated in one of the pieces…4 pieces of mass confusion, lol :)

I noticed you're from Oregon…some years ago a very talented puzzlemaker Lee Krasnow used to sell his puzzles at the Oregon Market, whenever his puzzles come up at auction now they fetch into thousands of dollars a piece!!! I often wonder how many people bought them back then and don't realize their value :)
