Project Information
Here is a cherry desk I just completed. Like all the projects I make, it was from rough lumber , start to finish with hand tools.
It was enjoyable to make and a relatively simple project. This was my first time making breadboard ends. I put a cherry dowel through the tenons on the breadboard and also the trestle base that i made from hammering a pieces of cherry through a washer lol.
The feet, as you can see, differ from near every other trestle table I have seen in that the bottoms in contact with the floor are flat. Most have the outer edges in contact with the floor and not the center portion. Anyone know if there is a reason for this?
