Project Information

This was a little side table that I made for beside a couch in my home. It was my first real crack at bent lamination and inlay into the legs. The wood is African-Cerejiera crotch veneer and Honduran mahogany the inlay was done with Ebony. Challenging project that I'm pretty proud of.

Looks really nice. What glue and substrate did you use for the veneer?

Unibond 800 for the adhesive and Baltic birch ply for the substrate

Beautifully executed and especially so for a first time. The veneer inlay top looks great as do the legs. The wood pairing is really nice too. Great work!
