Project Information

My daughter was with me one day when I was looking over lumberjocks. There was a project posted of some pendants and she immediately asked for one, but shaped as a heart. So off to the shop I went and came up with a set for her. The pendant is padauk. The ring is walnut and padauk. She is very excited and happy that I did that for her. She got a big smile and gave me a big hug when I gave her the pendant. The ring was an after thought and she was losing patience with me because she wanted me to play games, not work on her ring. Well, I made the choice and stuck to my guns, now she has a nice little set. I'm wondering if I want to make a bracelet to match next. Hhmmmmm…......

As always I welcome constructive criticism positive or negative.

Very nice set, The bracelet will just add more excitement and another big hug. Those hugs sure are worth any amount of trouble. Very good build.

Funny how daughters seem to get their way with Dad!! Nice looking jewelry. I am amazed by you guys who can work with small items Exspecially the heart for the ring, maybe my fingers are too fat. Nice work and story thanks for sharing both

Well done. Especially since it was done for someone you love. Daughters do have a way of wrapping Dad around the finger don't they?

She will be showing those off to everyone at school and soon you will have to spending all of your time in the shop making jewelry. Good luck!
