Project Information

This is a flip top work staion, I got the plans out of a Shop Notes Magazine. The four top corners have eye bolts anchored into the top and you just have to loosen the star nuts and vwolla the top flips over and then you just retighten the nuts. I have my 12" planer mounted on one side and my belt / disc sander on the other side. It works great and is easy to move around with the locking casters on the bottom. I built this about 6 months ago.

That is a nifty piece of work. Great for those of us with limited workspace.

Very nice. I have seen this idea also in the mags. I drew up something similar I hope to make. Instead of a flip top I want to have each of three or four machines have a wooden base that stays attached that would then be dropped into a recess on the station station top.

This is a real space saving idea, especially for those tools that are not used every day.
