Project Information

My wife had bought two new armchairs in front of the fireplace, and now she needed a new table. She couldn't get the wright shape in any furniture shop, so I had to walk down in the basement and look for some suitable wood. I found some walnut I had bought some years ago. After a few weeks the table was ready for our livingroom. The finish is BLO with tree layers of Liberon Finishing Oil.

man this looks like the stuff in the furniture stores ,
exept the finish is better !
the wife must be proud ,
it sets the room off nicely,
and goes with the chairs realy well .
.
i guess you didn't have enough
wood to make the ends the same , huh ? (lol)
but it looks good anyway .
great job

The understated design lets the wood and craftsmanship do all the talking. Elegant simplicty, seems almost 'scandinavian'. (that's a compliment)
