Project Information

Just finished the install on this pub style booth for a couple in Chicago. They are thrilled with it. The space required a custom built in (as you can see from the window configuration). My only real instructions were that they wanted an old irish pub look for it…..so I guess this is what I think that looks like. First time distressing furniture…..kind of fun. Piano hinged the seats to give them lots of storage….which they loved! Learned a lot as usual and enjoyed the ride.

You made it a cozy corner for a lot of different things; with a couple of cushions, it would be a nice place to settle down and do some serious reading, with a tall iced coffee too!

I've just joined the site because of that pub booth you designed and built. Very nice concept. I'm trying to track one down for our kitchen in TX.

First of all, welcome to Lumberjocks! ... and thank you for the kind compliment. This was a custom design build to fit the space (see the window etc). I don't have the plans. I do remember finding a really great video on line of a guy showing how to build the seats and I used it quite a bit. Google fine home building build a breakfast booth and you should find it. Very helpful! Good luck.

I am a beginner and my wife wants me to build something like this for our little cabin. Do you have plans for this?

Thank you,
Kelly
