Looking good, you can make a lot of them for $30. I use scraps of laminate flooring that a friend gives me, so I pay nothing for mine. ;-)

Someone mentioned that to me after I had commented that mine had warped some. Said it was less likely to have issues. Have to break out my template and make a few and see.

These work great! If you drill some small holes in the tabs that your leveler screws sit on and epoxy some rare earth magnets in there, it works wonders to hold your insert down firmly. The cast iron drills really easily but be careful not to go all the way through (I learned that the hard way!)

Saw the title and reminded me of my bank balance…

These are a must for any table saw, one for each kerf and a few for backup… Even with "zero clearance" I have found that the space around the blade expands (just like my midriff).

Can I please (please) suggest inclusion of a splitter!!!
I have done the same and fortunately suffered a kickback that missed. The chances are that the original plate didn't have one either. The placement of a splitter can be tricky, but once "nailed" you could make a jig for repeatability.
