Yo whats up everybody in this video I go over how to make a push stick this a video I planed on doing like 3 weeks ago but I hurt my back visit my website at www.kostasworkshop.blogspot.com
Nice job on the video, I teach high school woodshop in Nebraska and I found a great idea a while back online. I took an old handsaw that has a nice comfortable handle and I used it as a pattern to connect it to a push stick. That way you hand is comfortable and raised up away from the blade. Some people prefer a handle like yours, however. I also used a scroll saw to cut out much of the handle. I also used a router to soften the edges once I cut it out. I think the fact that we have so much discussion about such an odd topic is great for woodworking. Keep up the good work! You'll find a table saw will open up your woodworking world dramatically! I'm lucky to have the school's woodshop, but I have a cheap table saw/ router table combo machine at home that is a Ryobi special. It really has been a good machine for me at home! Good Luck!
