Project Information

This frame was comissioned to me by my wife for a picture she took of a storm rolling in at the cabin.
The cedar was cut by a bandsawmill that we have set up at the cabin. Very handy to have around.
I finished it with 4 coats of Teak oil . It turned out very nice I think.

we just took the digital picture file to a print shop and they just print it to whatever size you wish. Usually I cut my own mat boarder but this one was too big for my cutter so I had to get the framing store to cut it for me which really hurt.

WOW-- I like the artistic design. The upper and lower thickness adds eye appeal.
Very nice.

Really nice frame, it has an art deco aspect to it. Its nice to see frames that arn't your standard squares. I currently have about 10 frames to do that I am procrastinating on.

Hey Popeye
I really like the frame and I love the photo but what I want most is to stay in a cabin that has that view.

It definately is the most peaclful place I know. We have no neighbour to worry about,no phones,
boat access only. very private and peaceful place.

The redness of your frame really augments the darkness of the photo. Really nice piece of work by you both! Also looks like it might've been one ass-kickin' storm!
