That is a beautiful chest of drawers! I love that tiger maple, and the elegant look of it. I'm sure your granddaughter will just love it, and pass it down to her granddaughter!

Thank you for all the compliments. For the color I used a water based dye lockwood 144 and sprayed it on.

All seriousness, the feet look awesome. I love how heavy they are in relationship to the mid section. Very nicely done.

Hi Steve. Thank you for the kind words. I drew up the plans my self looking at different pieces and using what I liked about each one. I did have to fiddle around with drawer placement to get a pleasing to me measurement. I don't have any training in drafting, but if I can do it anyone can. It just takes time. In my case about week of trial and error.
