Project Information

CHAPALA CHIMENEAS: usually hand crafted from clay as out door wood heaters which are about one meter tall. My chapala is 20 cm and made of wood as decorative item, with light candle. Experienced craftsmen using several types of Mexican clay are known in produce them.

I'm not sure. It could be iron bark. It is from cross cut more than 1 meter wide and 15 cm thick that I saw chained into 6 large bowl blanks. Thanks for the comment.

Unique idea Sam. If it were made from Ipe you could actually use it because Ipe is fire rated the same as masonry products.

20 centimeters is about 7.87 inches, right? Lew has some pretty deep pockets.
