How do you play cornhole. I made years ago what they call a Holy Board. (which has 3 holes and you use 3 inch washers)

Rubi, do you have the specs on building these. I've thought about making a set and you could save me some research if you have some measurements.

I'm got my plans from cornholeplayers.net it's a forum and it's a very helpful website. I'm pretty sure that's the website but if it doesn't come up you can google the website and it should come. A guy by the name Jackson Van Buren has very detailed but simple plans. Like I said it's a very fun addicting game. Sorry for any missing words or spelling im trying to do this off my iPod touch

It's an Ohio thing. It is a great. Like horseshoes but much safer. Great for picnics, tailgating, etc.

I about lost it the first time that I heard of this game. As someone mentioned above, it IS gaining in popularity in Tennessee. Lot's of people are playing the game now. Someone told me that it came from Indiana and Ohio.

My introduction to the corn hole game was at a party. A friend and I had been asked to attend this party to provide the music (banjo and guitar). I saw some folks playing this game, tossing the bags of corn from 20-30 feet away, the object being to toss the bag (corn kernels sewn into some fabric) into the hole in the board. The board was mounted on legs so that it was at a bit of an angle…...maybe 20 degrees or so. I could see that they were enjoying themselves but at this point, I didn't know the name of the game.

My friend and I took a break from playing music and were strolling around the yard. Some asked me if I wanted to play corn hole. That's when I cracked up. Having grown up in eastern NC, the term "corn hole" has a VERY different meaning! My reply: " Thanks anyway, I think I'll pass, but I'll watch if others want to play!"

My musician friend knew what was going through my mind and we both fell out laughing.

Around here people are building the game boards with their favorite college team logo, etc on the boards. It really is growing as a past time sport in these parts.
