Well here are a few recent pictures of my new shop layout. The shop is in the basement of my house, purchased in 12/07 (my first house!). I have roughly 2/3 of the basement totaling about 450sf. I have been through a number of layouts in just this short time, but it keeps me thinking about how to be more efficient. I think the latest rendition will stick for a little while. The only issue working in this space is the head room. The height at the bottom of the joists is +/- 6'8" but since i am vertically challenged, its alright.
I'll add some more later on…
Major equipment:
SawStop 3hp, 52" rip capacity.
Jet 16" planer, 3hp.
Performax 16-32
Jet 1100 dust collector with remote
'60's Craftsman 10" TS. (dedicated for use of dado blade)
10" Dewalt chop saw
Delta drill press, benchtop
Delta B.O.S.S. spindle sander
Delta 16" scroll saw (actually belongs to my girlfriend)
14" Ridgid Bandsaw
old Craftsman belt sander
even older delta 12" disc sander.
Enjoy.
Nick
