Project Information

I got tired of looking for and reaching for the various accessories for my table saw, so I drew up a rough sketch, took a bunch of scrap - 4×4, 1/4" ply, 1/2" ply, and some mahogany strips left over from a counter top.
Now my miter square, push sticks, mag switch, push blocks, remotes for Rikon air filtration & JDS dust collector, and various Micro-jig grippers are right there in front of me. I mounted it on the front rail of my home made mobile base for my Grizzly table saw. It's not pretty, but it cost me only my time, as everything except glue and nails came from the scrap pile.

It is always to be organized. I always want my push tools handy as I start a cut. Looks like your solution works well.

Scrap is only scrap till one has to dispose of it, otherwise it is valuable material looking for a home. this project proves it. nicely done and useful. My impossible to use wood adds to the heat in my shop, even then it is useful, so is it scrap.

Yes, I have several "scrap" wood piles - small, medium and large, and often find uses for them whether it is for jigs, drawer fronts or handles, etc. When the scrap finally gets too small to be useful, it goes into the box to use for kindling in the fire pit out back.
