Project Information

Hello friends, today I am going to show my homemade wooden corkscrew - wine bottle opener.

That is the model which called "Charles De Gaulle" because it looks like his famous gesture.

Here, I'd used three kind of wood: beech, sucupira and iroko.

Thanks for posting the project. I have been wanting to make a "mechanical" cork screw remover for some time. I've favorited it for ideas..

This is awesome, what a cool project. Great another on my to do list…. I'm going to have to live until I'm 160 with all mm these fun projets… lol. Thx for sharing.

Great project build, well crafted, looks very nice, and functions well. These would make great gifts.
Now, watch and I'll bet one of the usual woodworker You Tubers - inventors will make one of these with hand drill power operation.
