Project Information

We were visiting yesterday, & our Granddaughter hauled out some of her things.

I had made this one for her when she was 6 years old in 1995.

She is now a 20 year old young lady going to college.

This carving was made from her own drawing that she drew for me,

so I did a small relief carving of it, for her.

I got this email from her, & I'd like to share it with you.
Hi!
I saw my drawing/grandpa's carving on lumberjocks… looks pretty good! You will have to tell all your online buddies hi from me (I mean Fort Knox!) and thank them for the nice comments. I do treasure those carvings Grandpa gave me. I have to get back to studying, so I'll talk to you later.

Lots of love… Steph

Thanks Grumpy!

She guards everything like it was Fort Knox.

I Have some more things to show, but I don't want to dump too much all at once.

That is awesome Dick. It brought tears to my eyes as I have a very treasured gift that my father and I did together in '75. 33 years ago and to this day it still looks the same. I will post picks for ya by the weekend.

Always treasure family
