Project Information

We have the possibility of family staying for the holidays so furnishing the spare bedroom became priority number one. First up was a bed. To gain another sleeping space we went with a bunk bed. It's a clean 2×4 and 2×6 design with no screw heads showing on the outside. Total materials cost was about $135. Take that Ikea!

love it! - i made a set out of sheer necessity years ago when my kids were little
It wasn't as nice as this one but did the trick

IKEA is only ''allegedly'' cheap! They will never beat DIY.

Nice design on this bunk bed , looks like it will be very strong and last for years. Ikea may sometimes be Cheaper in price than DIY but it is also usually Cheaper in Quality.
