Project Information

This was a commissioned piece that I had a lot of fun with. It finished out at 7' L x 33" H. Squared the back of the top slab for a flush fit against the wall and squared a matching slab to use as the shelf. I know that sacrificing a matching slab to use as the shelf was not the most economical decision, but it complimented the top quite well and I didn't have to worry about tonal differences between both pieces of wood. Finished with a home brewed Danish Oil mixture then topped with oil based poly. The bases are made from 1 1/2" raw steel scaled and ground out to a stainless finish and clear coated.

Very nice. Do you make the legs/base as well or do you purchase them?

Beautiful table,I like that there is just enough sapwood to frame the front edge of the top.

Nice looking table, and nice looking Kentucky bluegrass. Now all you need is a nice Kentucky bourbon, and you're all set!

Hi Drew

That's a nice looking table, can I ask is the base made from stainless or mild steel ?

Thanks Dan
