Project Information

Well after about a year of looking at this idea on the internet and LJ, I finally figured out how to adapt this to my delta table saw. I know it's been posted a lot on LJ, but I thought it may help give someone another idea or inspiration. All the material I used was scraps I had laying around in my show from commissioned projects, so it didn't cost but $5 for some hardware. It truly was a fun project to build. It gave me the opportunity for a challenge, and to make it mechanical and functional. It has already been worth it's weight in gold. Don't know how I got by without it. Thanks for looking and I hope it helps someone.

nice work. any outfeed table is a good outfeed table… the fact that this one moves makes it that much better!

This looks great! I have the same saw and have been thinking about building an outfeed table for it. I think I will have to try this one.

I've been putting this off for too long. Time to build one for myself.

Noticed you didn't cut the miter slots - is that coming, or unnecessary on your saw?

I've been putting one off myself. I'd really like to make a roller version of this, but am currently searching for a source for cheap rolling pins.

Gianni I still need to get the miter slots put in. Just haven't needed them yet.

Looks very nice.

Is your saw heavy enough to support the weight of your workpiece piece as it passes through the blade without tipping over?

Looks like it will serve you well. I too have a Delta TS that I want to add a fixed outfeed table to. It's going to be more of a challenge because it has the outboard motor. Now that I just completed my outside storage area for my compressor and propane tank it's the next project for the workshop on my list.

nice collapsable outfeed table. Would it been better to have the leg go to the floor to prevent tippyness with heavy stock gone through.
