While I can't say anything good about the Longhorns. . . It is a very nicely done board. Did you use template/bearing for the inlay? Looks great,

I can't imagine why you have no good comments about the Longhorns Jeff ;) Actually, for the inlay it was all done free hand. I cut the Longhorn out, shaped it, traced it and used a router with a 1/8 bit to carve out the top of the board. I tried to use a template, but the curves were too tight. Thanks for the kind words.

Only a Sooner would know how to carve out a longhorn like that freehand! j/k lol

Great board … thanks for sharing … now you got me wonderin' how hard it would be to carve out the USC logo on a toilet seat cover … lol

I really like the inlay design. Might want to try a exotic hardwood for the inlay. It will be more durable since it is used for a cutting board. Nice Job

Very Nice Rick. Great inlay work…it looks real clean. I do mine mostly freehand too.
