Project Information

The body of the table is made of re-sawn 2×4's, and the top is a piece of mylar from an old storage unit I tore apart. It had to be very narrow so that the curtains surrounding the spa could still close. Having assembled the frame and attached the mylar top I began working on the design of the final top. The pieces shown are from old used up pallets I gathered from around town. Once cut and planed some beautiful wood appears. The brick pattern turned out well I believe. The whole table is finished with spar varnish since the table is for out doors and beside a hot tub.

That top looks sweet.

Please tell me what part of the country you live in that has grass that green already?? I live in Pittsburgh and when I woke up today my brown grass had an inch of snow covering it!

The picture was taken last summer, but the grass is greening up nicely right now! We live in Boise, Idaho.
