Project Information
I responded to an ad for free lumber and it was 2×10 spruce and some pine from construction sites.
I thought I would see what I could do with it. The intention was to use a window from an old 1950's door and for it to be rustic with all the holes and dents left in it.
Only after I installed it did I realize the fatal design flaw - it was too heavy and the whole unit tipped over!
As you can tell - I design as I go based on the materials on hand and a thorough lack of planning.
It's 36.625" wide x 46.5" high x 10" deep and is all construction debris except for some pine barn cladding for the drawers. I found an old sign in our parking lot at work and cleaned it up for the back. The glass and hardware are new.
Cheers
Greg
