Project Information

This bed was inspired by G&G cloud-lift design. I struggled with the design and got some good feedback from LJ's. Sorry the pics didn't come out well.

It's made with walnut, ebony and leaded glass. The leaded glass matches the entrance door to the bedroom at a cabin.

It's finished with Sherwin Williams CAB acrylic lacquer.

What great work, the carving is outstanding … yep, that's a pun … and the leaded glass is eye catching. Gotta be careful when making this bed.

That is a great looking G&G bed! And the bear carving is beautiful! And I've got to say that I've never seen stained glass incorporated into a bed frame before.

I appreciate all the kind remarks.

I haven't seen glass used on a bed either. I made the glass and the carving so I can remove them and replace them with something else if desired/necessary.

Very nice. Love the incorporation of the carving and the glasswork, something G&G also used in their architecture.
