Looks real nice. I really like the miter splines (or whatever they are called) on the corners. Great job.

Thanks. I've done several of this style. It's pretty easy to do and makes a good give away

i never thought about stairstepping the size of the corner pieces like that.
Good idea, and adds that extra touch of style
Love the finish on the maple.

Beautiful. Did you dye the curly maple to get it to pop like that or did you use a different technique?

Thanks Rick
Hey, David…. good to see you. Thanks
jrockflim…. Those splines in the corners are all the same size. Their size changes because of the tapering of the sides.
Thank you, Andy
ATLJack.. No dies or stains. It's rubbed with pure tung, then waxed.

BTW, Jack. The plan for this box came from a magazine. If you think you want it, let me know. I'll send the info

Thanks Angie. I've been watching your posts lately. You've sure come a long way since you joined….
Thanks GeneR. I have one I'm working on now but, it's slow. Or, I'm slow
Jeff, I really like the bubinga. Especially the figured wood. I have one I'm doing now that's figured.
Thanks Charles
