Project Information

Made these wall mount guitar hangers from some leftover scraps of mahogany and poplar. Had some guitar hanger hooks laying around that I had bought off Ebay a while back. I painted the music notation mural for my fathers Birthday. Feeling the urge to build a couple dozen more. I have a few other head stock designs I want to try.

Great Job and a good use of scraps. The music teacher in me starts to ask why there are only three beats in a 4/4 measure? Just kidding, I may be borrowing your idea for the millions of guitars I have

Nicely done and a very appropriate way to store guitars.

Great job on these "gittar" hangers. I just hung nine guitars of various lineage on my wall last week. (Miss Honey Ma'am made me do it). She wanted it done "rat this minnit" so I just drove some three inch screws on both sides of the headstocks and hung'em up. She wanted the extra bedroom for some of the kids and grands and greats who are coming for Christmas. I know I'm gonna hafta do it better and it seems as if you have just solved my problem. I love these hangers and, with your permission, will make some just like them.

Kaleb- not being a smarta$$, but the US Marine bandsman in me (1956-1959) tells me that since this is the first measure of the piece those are what we called "pickup notes", as in Rhapsody in Blue. What do you think?

Thanks for the post and the great idea.
Have a good'un
