I really like those, well done, and thanks for posting.
My buddy Rockbuster has been trying to get me to have a go at segmenting, each time I see some pieces I get all enthusiastic again.
It's on my list.

Can't get an idea of size … what is the height/diameter?

gerry- 4" to 6" diameter x 5" height
I just glued up the blanks and turned them. The maple segments started about 1"-1 1/4" wide to give flexibility to my shaping. A nice bonus is unlike a regular vessel where you have to stop and remove shavings, shavings just fly out through the openings and you can see where your tool is.
