Project Information

I needed a place to keep my throw-away glue brushes so I tried this project. I made it out on some floor "underlayment" plywood that had an interesting grain figure. I stained it a "golden oak" stain and made some thin strips of pine that I stained a walnut color for the trim pieces. I thought I would try to make a door that tipped out for easy access to the brushes. It works very well.

Mike, I like the box. Good design. However, if you keep your glue brushes in water they can last for months. I just dry them on towel paper when I am ready to use them for glue.

That's a cool and practical box. Like the design and the wood colors. Well done!
