Project Information

I posted this project over on YouTube back on Wednesday so apologies if you have seen it already. Anyways, here are some coasters which I made out of scrap wood, be sure to watch the video!

Nice job Alex! Hadn't watched the vid on YouTube yet, so I watched it here. I think the Mahogany banding really makes the coasters pop! Just shows what last minute changes can do for a project. Added to my favorites.

You've got really nice scraps!
How did you get the random look and not end up with spaces between some pieces?
I don't see the lines that would come from laminating layers.

Seriously, they came out beautiful.

thanks for the idea Alex. I have bags and bags (the home depot tool bags) of tiny scraps that are to expensive to feed my fire pit but too small to do anything with… well thats what I thought until now. I'll post some pics once I get my shop set back up and get them made
