Project Information
My daughter and son-in-law visited for the weekend and we took the opportunity to build a pair of Adirondack chairs for them. As you can see the grandson helped, he had the drill after all. The wood was reclaimed redwood from a deck that was going to be torn down and burned. The design was from Popular Woodworking Sept 2005. Norm Abrams designed and built by him and the editor of PW. Added their name to the front to add some distinction and put the pressure on the rest of the neighbors in the cul-de-sac Stainless steel hardware and deck screws. Arms are wide enough to comfortably hold a sparkling malt beverage at the end of a long day of woodworking.
