Here are some segmented potpourri bowls that I made in my shop. I actually made a jig for them first. I cut all of these on my Rigid tablesaw.
The jig has made this so much easier. My advice to anyone that is going to make them is to do it that way.
They are all 12 pieces per layer.
Most of them are mahogony, one is maple and mahogony and one is walnut.

Pic 5 is mahogony and a thin maple ring I put in for effect.
Pic 6 is walnut.
