Jonathan,

This looks really, but I think you are correct.

When you redesign the legs, use the existing ones to make a hall or couch table - they would look perfect with a long skinny table.

Cheers!

Very nice table, I like the design as is. These legs impart a look of elegance. I think I saw this style of trestle in an issue of Fine Woodworking, and as I remember, the legs were very similar to these. Beauty is in th eye of the beholder though, so if you decide to change the legs, I'm sure it'll come out just as nice.

I agree that the legs could be a bit larger. You might just enlarge the feet, making them a little longer and beefier, but more length than beef to maintain the graceful lines you've established. The table looks like it could tip if two people elbowed on one side! It may not be tippy, just looks that way.

Are these commissioned or speculation? I'm holding off speculative work because I'm sitting on several thousand dollars worth already, "Grinling Gibbons thingy" excepted.

Nice work.Dining room table is a great piece of furniture.Your dining space is one of the primary units of your house as that is the place where you have your meals. Therefore the dining room should be decorated in such a way that would make people enjoy their meals all the most.
