Thanks, It is not exposed to the sun and is still the vibrant purple. I have some other pieces semi exposed to the sun and they look cedar color after 6 months or so. We sand and revarnish once a year.

Beautiful table. Where did you ever get such a big piece of purple heart?

I live in Costa Rica and purchased a large lot of hardwoods from the owner of the property I bought. Mostly purpleheart but also some other hardwoods. They are all air dried for more than 10 years. I have some purpleheart as large as 4" x 30" x 11' but most are 1"x11"x11'. Not sure how to use the big lumber yet. I know it is a sin but I had so much I used some for facia board on a house I rebuilt.

Just LOVE that table. Purpleheart is one of my favourite timbers. I wish it grew in Australia.
Thanks for showing.

Very cool table.Wood is the most popular material in a coffee table, they are perfect for those who have traditional design themes in their home.Your coffee table should outclass all the other furniture in your living room.

I love the design and the finish on this, the through wedged tenons are absolutely perfect. Great Job! I love it.
