Very nice!!! Looks like you scrollsawn layers to make them. Ive made some bowls and business card holders that way. And I love that wood! Koa is one of my favs. Nice work!!

You are partly correct Marty…face is cut into lines, but the back board (that I glued to) is solid wood. Thanks for the kind words

Great job would love to get some Koa over in Southern California.. Its really expensive here. Blondie and I use to live there back in 94.

Ken, Koa is costly here as well. Here's a good one, back in 94 we lived in So. Ca.

Art, each line of the siding was cut on the scroll saw and glued to a backer board

I did one of those too, but your look way better, did you get tired of cutting those things after a while like it happened to me?

No it didn't bother me at all. I do so much scrolling I just do it while thinking of something else to build
