This is a potting bench I made for my wife for Mother's Day. (I'd only been promising it for a year….or two).
It is made from fence posts ($0.78 ea). Construction is basic overlap joints. Took most of an afternoon to make.
The screen in the top is lined up with the bin that holds potting soil so as she fills a pot the excess soil falls through the screen and into the bin that holds the soil. This is also helpful for reusing potting soil - you can dump the old plant out of the pot onto the screen and seperate out the soil from the dead plant debris.
