Very nice work Greg. I am debating if I would use one though. Frankly I am with Pieter. I do not know what it does. If I did know and it was useful I would make one. Maybe someone could tell me before I go google it.
Edit:
I just saw the link Greg. So I would use it for saddle joints and making lattices? I am just wondering about the applications.
That is kind of what I was thinking. I just ran my stack today on some fairly long dados. It seems like the kerfer might only be useful for smaller stuff?
Well mostly. The idea came from one of the guys over at Bridge City Tool works. They have videos as well. It's Kinda meant for the exact sized dado or kerf without measuring mistakes & having an expensive precise dado stack.
As a fellow kerfmaker maker (See, Gaggle of Kermakers), I've used walnut, and I've used maple, and I even used both in one that I made, but yours is much, much nicer looking. Good job.
Greg it looks great and the fact that you can use
it makes it an extra special project.
It is also a very nice piece of joinery with stunning contrasts.
Yours
