    Thank you for the compliment. The type of carving I do is really very simple. I use a hand held rotary tool and a 5/16 carving bit. It is faster and easier then traditional carving, great for someone like myself, I am not very patient or all that artistically inclined. However I really do appreciate the time, effort and artistry that goes into traditional carving.

    Welcome to Lumberjocks. Rather than go through each of your projects and make almost the same comment, I would like to say I really like the carvings that you've done on each one. They are not to the extreme, just enough to give each piece an unique look and touch of elegance. This is the type of carving that I hope to incorporate into my pieces someday, when I get my carving skills sufficiently honed. Thanks for all of your post.
