Project Information
Super easy project. This is the 3rd and final project I made out of the 2'x2' plywood Christmas tree base that I got at Home Depot for 3 bucks. The other two projects are a Kreg Jig Base and a 2 lb Soap Mold .
I've seen these made by other LJ's and thought it was a great way to save money instead of buying the real thing.
I cut out 4 squares:
Then I used those squares as templates for the non-stick drawer liner (couple of bucks at Wal-Mart):
Then I glued the non-stick squares to the plywood squares and that's all. I tried Elmer's glue and wood glue. Elmer's glue didn't really work at all. Wood glue worked better, but still not as well as I would have liked. You can easily peel the non-stick liner off. I have some super glue on hand that I will try whenever the current ones come off. There may be better and more permanent options than those, but I don't have anything else.
They work great. Thanks for looking.
